Who we are
The Knoll of Maró
Poggio di Maró is our open house: a family farmhouse in Badalucco where the rooms, restaurant and products already have their own pages-here we want to tell you how we run it, day in and day out.
There is the work in the garden, the pace in the kitchen, and the way we take care of guests. No catalog: just the behind-the-scenes stories of people who really live this place.

01
The vegetable garden, where it all begins
The garden is the first table from which we start: planting, harvesting, seasons that don't wait, and a few surprises of the weather. We grow what makes sense for the soil and the kitchen, without forcing.
What we harvest ends up on plates, in preserves or in what we take our time preparing-this is the clearest way we can make you understand what "short" means to us.

02
The kitchen, how we keep it in the house
In the kitchen we decide together what to offer, looking at the garden, the nearby artisans' market, and Ligurian tradition-not a fixed brochure menu, but a balance that changes with the week.
Cooks and hall work as in a family: few place settings, respected timing, no rushing. We want people to feel that there is a choice behind each dish, not mass production.

03
Welcoming: experiencing the Poggio with you
For us, welcoming is not a department: it is being present -- an extra question at check-in, advice on the trail, the silence of the afternoon when someone needs to disconnect.
Small structure means that we recognize your face at breakfast and dinner: it's not postcard exclusivity, it's simply the way we do agritourism.
Relax, collect yourself, push all other thoughts away from you. Let the world around you fade into the blur.
